I gifted this pen holder to my junior who is a very sweet doll. So a doll for a doll. I made this pen holder by paper mache. Consider the following steps to make this kind of craft:
- Take a cone shaped container. Stick polythene over it.
- Now mix water with fevicol in 1:2 ratio.
- Apply thoroughly over the stucked polythene.
- Tear out old newspapers and start pasting on it in layers.
- Apply the fevicol mixture on every layer.
- Cut out a cardboard in circular shape of appropriate size to fit in as base.
- Fix it with the body carefully with paper mache.
- Now apply a last coat of fevicol mixture on overall structure and stick clean white sheet over it.
- Leave this to dry.
- Now cut out cardboard in shape of the remaining part of body and cover this with white sheet.
- Take crape paper to decorate the skirt and top of the doll.
- In this I cutted small pieces of crape paper and sticked it all over to give it an effect of frills.
- Take a jute thread or wool to make the dolls ponytail.
- And its ready to gift to your dolly :)
